Recent Disaster Relief Trip to Toms River, New Jersey

On September 8, seven of our church members, led by Team Leader Bob Hottle, went to Toms River, New Jersey to continue the rebuilding of this community from the damage of Hurricane Sandy.

Over the years, our men and women have responded in times of great disaster, but they have also been faithful in working to complete the task of rebuilding.

We should thank the Lord for their faithfulness to the task.

Samaritan’s Purse mobilizes staff and equipment and enlists thousands of volunteers to provide emergency aid to victims of tornadoes, hurricanes, wildfires, floods, and other natural disasters in the United States. We often stay behind after our initial response to rebuild or restore houses for needy families.

The goal of NCBM Disaster Relief Ministry is to provide ways for Christians to minister to people who are hurting due to disasters. We seek to provide organization, equipment, and strategy for committed volunteers to help affected individuals/families rebuild their lives and homes. Some of the ways we respond are through; Administration, Assessment, Chaplaincy, Communications, Childcare, International Search and Rescue, Laundry, Logistics, Mass feeding, Recovery (debris removal), Rebuild. Shower, Water, etc.
