23rd Annual Bay Leaf Baptist Church Toy Chest
Bay Leaf Baptist Church blesses Southeastern Seminary students with Christmas gifts for their children by collecting monetary donations and setting up a toy store in our family life center. Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary students with children, that are taking a minimum of 6 credit hours, come and shop for their children for Christmas at about 10% retail cost for the gifts. All money spent by students at the Toy Chest goes straight to Lottie Moon Christmas Offering for International Missions.
How can you help? Monetary donations are most helpful as they allow us to shop in bulk and receive discounts, which make your dollar go further. We’ll also be collecting lightly loved toys in the church office October 31-November 11.
Be a Volunteer!
Volunteers are needed for set-up on Thursday night and workers for the day of the Toy Chest. Contact Linda Tyler at email@example.com to sign up.
What to Give?
There is a Toy Chest committee that does the shopping, They have relationships with stores and buy in bulk and on sale.
Lightly Loved Toys:
Bay Leaf provides a "Quarter Aisle" for seminary students to purchase additional items for their children.
